Moving house can be a highly pressurised experience. For most it is likely to be the highest value transaction they undertake and represents their main assets and investment for the future. It is therefore extremely important that you carefully consider your choice of professionals to assist you through the conveyancing process e.g. estate agents, surveyors, mortgage advisors, solicitors. We provide an efficient and high quality service to both buyers and sellers, guiding clients through all stages from putting their existing house on the market to collecting keys for a new property. Conveyancing is a highly technical and often complex area of legal work which requires attention to detail. This is often overlooked by the public who understandably are keen to get moved in to the house of their dreams. If, however, the conveyancing is not done properly, problems may later arise, particularly on a subsequent sale, when it is too late or more difficult to rectify them. We believe that it is important that all elements of the transaction are carried out by qualified solicitors and not by unqualified support staff. Clients deserve no less. We also ensure that clients are regularly updated as to the position and that all issues are explained in a friendly and helpful manner and with as little legal jargon as possible. |

We operate under the Law Society of Northern Ireland Home Charter Scheme by which the Law Society monitors the quality of our procedures in conveyancing work. Our last inspection was on 23 November 2010 and the Monitoring Officer commented in his report as follows:- “The files are neat and easy to follow. All property certificates and searches are in evidence from the files. The agreed professional fee and outlay is confirmed in writing to the clients. Good contact maintained with the clients and a clear statement of account is evident in each file.” Contact us for a without obligation quotation and a further explanation of the role of the solicitor in the conveyancing process. |
